WE SELL KNIVES ONLY TO OVER-18s.  IF YOUR PURCHASE IS NOT MADE BY PAYPAL, OR WITH A CREDIT CARD, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO VERIFY THAT YOU ARE OVER 18.  WE MAY DO THIS IN A VARIETY OF WAYS, INCLUDING CHECKING THE ELECTORAL ROLE, AND SPEAKING WITH YOU ON THE PHONE BEFORE DESPATCH.  THIS IS THE LAW FOR UK BUYERS, SO PLEASE BEAR WITH US.

Ordering From Dartmoor Knife:

Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping basket.  When you have made your selection, click on ‘checkout’.  You will then be asked to provide some details so that we can process your order.

Payment:

ALL COUNTRIES: May pay by Secure Online Payment via WorldPay with Credit or Debit Cards, PayPal, Google Checkout, Online Bank Transfer (e.mail us for our bank details, or Over the Phone with most bank cards (not Amex, Diners, or Discover).

UK BUYERS: May pay Over the Phone with most bank cards, by Secure Online Payment via WorldPay with Credit or Debit Cards, PayPal, Google Checkout, Online Bank Transfer (e.mail us for our bank details), Over the Counter Payment at any branch of our bank (e.mail us for our bank details), or UK Postal Order or Cheque drawn on a UK bank account (7 days clearance required), made payable to Ster1ing Supp1ies.

Despatch Schedule:

We tend to process all orders, where possible, within 24 hours.  Whilst most items will be despatched within one working day, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery within the UK, 5-7 working days for Europe and 7-15 working days Rest of World.

At Dartmoor Knife, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us.  We use only good quality materials for packaging.  We also buy online and can assure you that NO ONE takes better care of your purchases.  In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be posted out within one working day, free of charge.

Despatch within UK (incl Northern Ireland)

For UK mainland deliveries, postage, packaging and handling are all ABSOLUTELY FREE!  Items posted within the UK will normally be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Signed For (insured up to £41) or Special Delivery Next Day (insured up to £500).  Heavier items may be sent via ParcelForce and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item.  If a buyer requires enhanced insurance or an expedited service, please e.mail us for a quotation.  Dartmoor Knife reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it more appropriate.

Overseas:

For overseas deliveries, postage, packaging and handling are all ABSOLUTELY FREE!  Items posted outside the UK will normally be sent via priority air mail (Royal Mail Airsure or Royal Mail International Signed For) and insured for the full value of the goods.  If a buyer requires enhanced insurance or an expedited service please e.mail us for a quote.  Dartmoor Knife reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it more appropriate.

Refunds & Returns:

If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 7 days.  We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging.  Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return.  We do not refund return postage costs, unless an item arrives damaged due to our negligence.  Items lost or damaged in the post are insured, and we will fill out any necessary Royal Mail claims forms on your behalf and liaise with the correct postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf.  In the event that this becomes necessary, please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from Royal Mail/ParcelForce, and that this can take several weeks.  Meanwhile, we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.
